Andrei Baronov
Dr. Baronov is one of the world leading Windows systems
management experts.
Starting as CTO with Midwestern Commerce, he moved to the same position in Aelita Software. His expertise and insight made it possible to create a family of products whose architecture and technologies were a cut above those of the competitors.
In 2004, after Aelita was acquired by Quest Software, Dr. Baronov took the position of R&D Director of Microsoft Business Unit
at Quest. In February 2005, together with Ratmir Timashev, he co-founded AMUST Software and
later Veeam Software. Currently Dr. Baronov holds the position of CTO
in AMUST and Veeam. Veeam software produces tools for VMware ESX Infrastructure.
Baronov received his master's
degree from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1990 and a PhD degree in Physics and Technology from the same college in 1995.

Ratmir Timashev
Ratmir Timashev brings a rare combination of business savvy and technical knowledge.
Mr. Timashev has more than a decade of entrepreneurial experience. In 1993, he founded Midwestern Commerce, the predecessor of Aelita Software, and in the capacity of CEO has led the company to an extraordinary growth. In 2004,
after Aelita was acquired by Quest Software, Timashev took the position of General Manager of Microsoft Business Unit
at Quest.
Having worked in Quest Software for about a year, Ratmir
founded 2 new companies, - AMUST Software and Veeam Software
- and headed them as president.
Timashev received his
master's degree from Moscow Institute of Physics and
Technology in 1990 and master's degree in Chemical Physics from Ohio State University in 1995.

Nikolay Mitushin
Dr. Mitushin joined ABRT Venture Fund as Investment Director in 2007.
From 2003-2007 Dr. Mitushin was Technology Entrepreneurship program manager at Intel Corporation
helping Russian entrepreneurs to turn technological ideas
into successful businesses. Prior to that in 2000-2003 Dr. Mitushin
founded software company Arptek and served as it's CEO. For his achievements in Arptek
Dr. Mitushin received recognition award from World Technology Network and was elected as Individual WTN Member
in 2002.
Mitushin received his master's degree from Moscow Institute
of Physics and Technology in 2001 and a PhD degree in Investment Strategy Optimization from the same college in 2004.
In 2005 he successfully completed Entrepreneurship Colloquium at Harvard Business School. |
